A storage platform, not a cleaner · 15-day free trial · no credit card
All your storage. One studio.
Storage Studio unifies your Mac, external drives, cloud accounts, and devices into one intelligent, collaborative space — so you move, sync, and share without limits, and never think about where anything lives. Cleaners delete; Storage Studio manages, and everything is reversible.
One space, bigger than any disk. Move folders and apps to a fast external drive and they keep working — a smart link stays behind, so nothing in Finder changes.
Browse every drive as one. Your Mac, external drives, and cloud accounts — iCloud, Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, S3 and more — show up together, and files move across them freely.
Reclaim space when you want it. Tuhi clears safe caches and parks apps you rarely use — reversibly, and nothing personal is removed without asking.
15-day free trial · no card required · for Macs with Apple silicon (M1 or later)
Connected & collaborative · Mac and PC
Not one Mac.
Your Mac and your PC.
Storage Studio is the fabric between your machines, not a single-Mac tool. Send files and clipboard straight from one device to another, mirror a shared folder between two Macs, and bring a Windows PC into the same private space — over a direct, end-to-end-encrypted link, with no server in the middle.
Two Macs, one folder. Collab Sync mirrors a shared folder both ways between two Macs — edit on either, and when both change the same file, both versions are kept and restorable.
Mac and PC, connected. The free SS Bridge companion runs on Mac and Windows — pair it to share folders, send files, and sync your clipboard across the two.
Direct and private. Devices link over an end-to-end-encrypted tunnel — same Wi-Fi or across the internet — so your files and clipboard never pass through anyone else's machines.

Intelligent & autonomous · On-device Tuhi
It thinks, so you don't have to.
Tuhi — an on-device assistant powered by Apple Intelligence — watches your storage, advises in plain English, tiers cold data while you're away, and reclaims what's safe. It's grounded in your real numbers and never acts without your consent. Cleanup is just one of the things it handles.
Ask Tuhi anything. A private assistant, powered by Apple Intelligence and running entirely on your Mac, answers your storage questions in plain English and takes you to the right screen.
It works while you're away. Safe automation tiers cold data to your fast drive, keeps cloud files online-only, and clears regenerable caches — on its own, reversibly.
Grounded, and in your control. Every number is your Mac's real data; every action is previewed and undoable, and nothing personal moves without your say-so.

DELTA TRUST · BACKUP STORAGE
We keep the storage. You keep the keys.
A vault for your backups that we run and you alone can open — encrypted on your Mac before it leaves it, with a key we never see, and a history nothing can quietly erase.
Ransomware cannot erase your history — 30 days
Encrypted on your Mac, with a key we never see
Every version, still restorable
Only you can read it. Encrypted on your Mac before it leaves, with a key we never see. We can close your vault; we can never open it.
Ransomware cannot erase your history. Nothing on your Mac can delete your backups. Even if your Mac is fully compromised, your history cannot be destroyed for 30 days — by anyone, including us.
Every version, still there. Go back to any version you kept, and see every time we touch your vault's account in your own activity log.
Your recovery kit is the one thing we cannot replace, so keep a copy of it somewhere safe.
Move, don't delete
Relocate big apps and folders to a fast external drive — a shortcut stays behind at the original path, so Finder, Spotlight, and your apps open everything as if nothing moved. Fully reversible, with one-click undo.
The heart of Storage Studio
Free up space in one tap
Tuhi clears caches and rarely-used files and reclaims old local backups, while App Offload parks apps you barely use — and their data — on the drive to free the most space. Every step previews first; nothing personal is removed without asking.
Tuhi · App Offload · preview-first
Tuhi, your private assistant
Ask anything about your storage in plain English — "what's using my space?", "how do I sync to S3?" — and Tuhi answers, then takes you to the right screen. It runs entirely on your Mac with Apple Intelligence, so your files and questions never leave the device.
Auto-thinning makes Move-to-NVMe actually free your boot disk in real time — which makes "use NVMe as a permanent second volume" finally practical. Pair a small USB-C / MagSafe-attached / Thunderbolt enclosure with Storage Studio and treat your boot disk like cache: working set on internal, archive on NVMe, both always one click apart.
Illustrative — Storage Studio is a software product, we don't ship hardware. Any APFS-formattable USB-C / Thunderbolt enclosure works.
Carry-everywhere
A 1–2 TB USB-C stick or magnetically-attached enclosure travels with the laptop. Pull it off when you don't want it; reattach and it's mounted in seconds.
Always-on at the desk
A Thunderbolt enclosure stays plugged in and inherits your workflow — perfect for the Mac mini / Studio crowd.
Hot-swap between machines
Move the same NVMe between a personal MacBook and a work iMac. Storage Studio recognises the marker file and re-pairs without a re-setup.
Archiving that remembers everything.
When other tools archive a file, they lose its dates, tags, and provenance. Archiving in Storage Studio keeps the full file identity intact — including the three dates most tools silently rewrite during the move.
Created
When it was created
The date Finder shows under Date Created. Almost every cloud roundtrip kills this. We keep it.
Modified
When it last changed
The "last edited" timestamp your apps and Spotlight sort on. Survives every move — local, cloud, and back.
Last accessed
When it was last opened
When you (or an app) last opened the file. Useful for "what haven't I touched in two years?" sweeps — and we don't trample it on the way.
Plus every other bit of metadata that travels with the file:

Delta Trust
Backup storage only you can open.
Delta Trust is the backup part of Delta X — Storage Studio’s storage side, which is Delta Trust for your backups, Delta Drive for your working files, and My Drive when you would rather those working files sat on storage you already own. We run the storage here; you hold the keys. It is built around the three questions that decide whether a backup was worth keeping — can anyone else read it, can an attack destroy it, and can you still get back the version you need.
Only you can read it
Only you can read your backups. Your files are encrypted on your Mac before they leave it, with a key we never see. We can close your vault; we can never open it.
Encrypted before it leaves your Mac
Ransomware cannot erase your history
Nothing on your Mac can delete your backups. Even if your Mac is fully compromised, your history cannot be destroyed for 30 days — by anyone, including us.
30 days of protected history
Every version, still there
Every version you kept is a version you can restore. Nothing — an attacker, a lapsed subscription, or us — can remove one sooner than your policy says it goes.
Restore any version you kept
Every time we touch your vault’s account, you can see it — it is written into your own activity log, in plain English. Your recovery kit is the one thing we cannot replace, so keep a copy of it somewhere safe.
If any of these describe a Tuesday afternoon for you, Storage Studio was made with you in mind.
Designers
Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, Figma exports, Adobe scratch files — all piling up on your boot disk. Storage Studio moves the old projects out and keeps the active ones close.
Social media & content creators
Raw footage, Reels stock, B-roll, podcast audio. Keep this month's shoot on the internal drive; let last quarter's footage live on the external. One tidy library, two drives.
Media producers & editors
Final Cut libraries, Premiere caches, DaVinci Resolve renders. Storage Studio handles the heavy hitters so your edit timeline doesn't stutter when your boot disk is full.
Managers & team leads
Years of slides, PDFs, board decks, contracts. The recent stuff stays one click away in Spotlight. The 2019 archive moves to the external — same folder, smaller boot drive.
Developers
Xcode DerivedData, Docker images, node_modules, build caches. Optional one-click cleanup for the usual suspects, and a way to move big apps off the internal drive while they keep launching normally.
Everyone else with a small Mac
MacBook Air with 256 GB? An iCloud Drive that's been quietly bloating? Storage Studio gives you the next few years of room back, without making you read a manual.
Nine things, all of them calm
Storage Studio lives in the menu bar. It only talks to you when something needs your call — and even then it shows you exactly what it'll do before it does it.
Ask Tuhi anything
A built-in assistant, powered by Apple Intelligence, answers your storage questions in plain English and points you to the right screen. It runs entirely on your Mac — your files and questions never leave the device.
Pair two folders
Tell Storage Studio: 'this folder on my Mac matches that folder on the external drive.' From then on, it keeps both sides organised the way you arranged them.
Browse both sides as one
A side-by-side window shows the internal and external folders together. Hover on one side and the other follows along — like a Finder window that knows about both drives at once.
Free Up Space wizard
Three friendly steps: clear out caches and junk, send oversize files to the external drive, and (optionally) push iCloud / Dropbox / Drive files back to online-only. Each step previews everything first.
Move, offload, or uninstall apps
Photoshop, Final Cut, Xcode — apps that take 5–15 GB each. Move them out and they still launch as if nothing changed. Offload the ones you rarely use to park the app and its data on the drive and free the most space, restorable in a click. Or uninstall cleanly, leftovers and all.
See where the space went
A clean chart of how your storage has changed over the last week, month, or year. Drag to zoom, hover to see exact numbers. Useful for explaining the disk situation to IT or the boss.
Knows when you're in a meeting
Camera or microphone in use? Storage Studio pauses everything heavy. Your Zoom call, your podcast, your client demo — never interrupted by a sync. (We don't read or record any audio or video — we just notice the Mac is busy.)
Connect anywhere
Google Drive, Google Photos, S3 (AWS, Cloudflare R2, Backblaze B2, Wasabi, DigitalOcean Spaces, MinIO), FTP, SFTP, Dropbox, OneDrive, Box. Add an account once and it shows up in every transfer picker — including cross-provider moves like S3 → SFTP or Drive → FTP.
Schedule the heavy work
Run a transfer every night at 2 AM, every Sunday, every hour — whatever rhythm suits you. Jobs park when the NVMe is unplugged and resume on their own when you reconnect. No cron, no scripts, no Terminal.
How it works in four steps
1
Plug in any external drive
USB-C, Thunderbolt, the cheap 1 TB SSD you bought on a whim — they all work. Even a second folder on your Mac works if you don't have an external yet.
2
Tell Storage Studio which folders match
Maybe your Documents folder on the Mac matches an "Archive" folder on the external. Maybe it's a Movies folder. You decide — Storage Studio just remembers the pair.
3
Pick what should move, and when
Big files? Old files? Specific kinds, like raw video or PSDs? You choose. Storage Studio asks before it does anything, so nothing leaves the boot drive without your nod.
4
Forget about storage
Your folders look identical in Finder. Apps open the same way. Spotlight finds everything. The only thing different is the extra hundreds of gigabytes free on your Mac.
Pricing
Try Storage Studio free for 15 days, no card required. Pay only if it earns its place on your Mac. Receipts, invoices, and cancellation are all handled by Stripe — same experience as the App Store, just on the web.
Set it up in Storage Studio under Backup. A vault belongs to your licence and your Mac, so it is created from the app rather than bought here.
Questions
Will my files be uploaded to the cloud?
No. Storage Studio doesn't upload your files anywhere. Everything stays on your Mac and on your external drive — we never see your photos, videos, documents, or anything else.
Why does it ask for camera and microphone permission?
So it can pause heavy work while you're on a video call. Storage Studio just checks whether the camera or microphone is being used — it never reads or records what's going through them.
What if I delete a file by accident?
Storage Studio always asks before it deletes or overwrites anything. There's a confirmation step on every move, and the 'Relocate' option leaves a placeholder in the original spot so files never just disappear from your folders.
How does the free trial work?
15 days, no payment method needed. After that, you can buy a plan to keep going. The trial is tied to your Mac, so reinstalling the app doesn't reset it.
What happens to my files if I stop using Storage Studio?
Nothing. Your files stay exactly where they are on both drives. Storage Studio just stops moving new things — it never holds anything hostage or makes you re-import files to use them.
Is my purchase a one-off or a subscription?
Your choice. Lifetime is one-off ($249) and includes all future updates. Monthly ($9.95/mo) and Annual ($90/yr) are recurring subscriptions through Stripe — cancel anytime in the Stripe Customer Portal and access continues until the end of the paid period.
Which cloud services does it support — and can I move between them?
Nine, plus your local disks and any external drives: Google Drive, Google Photos, S3-compatible (AWS, Cloudflare R2, Backblaze B2, Wasabi, DigitalOcean Spaces, MinIO), FTP, SFTP, Dropbox, OneDrive, and Box. Each is added once in Cloud Accounts and then appears in every transfer picker — including cross-provider moves like S3 → SFTP or Drive → FTP. Passwords and access keys live in an AES-GCM vault on your Mac, keyed to this machine; we never see them.
Can I get a refund?
All payments are final and non-refundable once you activate the app — this is why we offer a full 15-day free trial first. You can cancel a Monthly or Annual subscription anytime via the Stripe Customer Portal; future charges stop and your access runs until the end of the period already paid for. Statutory consumer rights (EU/UK 14-day right of withdrawal where unwaived, Australian Consumer Law, etc.) are preserved — contact us with your Stripe receipt and the legal basis.
