Release notes

The canonical changelog lives in CHANGELOG.md at the Storage Studio repository and is bundled with every release of the macOS app. The web mirror lags the in-app copy by a few days at most.

v2.0.0 — current

  • Stripe licensing with Monthly ($5/mo), Annual ($49/yr), and

Lifetime ($149) plans. 7-day free trial first.

  • Offline grace of 14 days — Storage Studio keeps working

without bothering you when the internet is patchy.

  • Self-hosted backend on Cloudflare Workers + D1 — keeps your

license records in our control, not a third party's.

  • DMG release hosting — the app's update check now pulls from a

Worker-served /download/latest.dmg URL with SHA-256 integrity and conditional-GET resume support.

  • In-app upgrade prompt when a new release is published.
