Activate your license

Storage Studio uses Stripe for all payments. You don't enter card details into the app itself — you enter the transaction identifier Stripe sends you in the receipt.

Where to find your transaction ID

In your Stripe receipt email, look for a string that starts with one of:

  • pi_… — Payment Intent (for the Lifetime plan, one-off purchase)
  • sub_… — Subscription (for the Monthly or Annual plan)

You don't need to know which plan you bought — the server detects it from the Stripe price ID attached to the transaction.

Where to paste it

Storage Studio → Preferences → License, or the paywall on first launch after the trial.

Enter:

  1. Your purchaser email address (the one Stripe billed)
  2. The pi_… or sub_… identifier

The app calls the server, validates with Stripe, mints a JWT, and caches it locally. From then on Storage Studio works offline for up to 14 days at a time.

Managing your subscription

Open the Stripe Customer Portal from Preferences → License → Manage in Stripe. Stripe owns billing, receipts, invoices, and cancellation. We don't keep a copy of your card.

Refund policy

Once activated, payments are non-refundable except where mandatory consumer-protection law requires. Please use the 7-day free trial before purchasing. Full details in our Terms of Service §5.5.
