Delta Drive
Your working files, on your Mac and in any browser.
Delta Drive is the working half of your Storage Studio plan. It appears in Finder like a disk, and it opens here — so the file you need is reachable from a borrowed laptop, a phone, or somebody else's desk.
- In Finder, without a kernel extension. It mounts as a folder in your Storage Studio drive. Nothing to install, nothing to approve.
- Starting folders, ready to use. Documents, Desktop, Pictures, Shared and Team — with one-click backup for the ones your Mac already has.
- Share a file without sharing your drive. A link to named people, with an expiry, revocable at any time, and a log of who opened what. They get a real drive containing only what you sent — read, comment or edit, as you choose — and never see where it lives in yours.
- Or bring storage you already pay for. Point the drive at your own S3-compatible bucket — Amazon S3, Cloudflare R2, Wasabi, DigitalOcean, Backblaze — and keep the same screens, sharing included. That is My Drive, and it needs only a Storage Studio trial or licence — no Delta Trust plan. We write under one prefix inside the bucket you name and touch nothing else.

The files you use. Browsable here, openable in Finder, shareable with anyone you choose. To show them in a browser, our server reads them.
My Drive — the same, on storage you own
The same drive and the same screens, pointed at an S3-compatible bucket of your own. We write under one prefix inside it and touch nothing else. One working drive is live at a time, the heading always says which, and switching copies nothing.
Delta Trust — the backup half
Your backups. Encrypted with a key only your Mac holds, so they cannot be opened here, or by us. Separate from both working drives on purpose — your backups do not move when you change where you work. See what Delta Trust guarantees →
We would rather write that difference down than let you assume it. Which of these we can read is not a detail you should have to work out — and the one you own, we cannot protect from your own keys the way we protect Delta Trust.

My Drive, on storage you own, is included with every Storage Studio trial and licence: open the Delta Drive tab in the app, choose Use storage you own, confirm your email with a code, and connect your bucket — then sign in here with that address. Delta Drive comes with a Delta Trust plan, set up from Data Backup inside Storage Studio on your Mac; if you started on My Drive, the app offers to move it across and your files stay where they are.
