Partner Program — Acceptable Use Policy

Effective date: 2026-05-25 · Version: 1.0.0

Behavior that will get a partner paused, accrual voided, or terminated. See also §7 and §8 of the Partner Program Agreement.

Marketing and representation

You will not:

  • Make claims about Storage Studio that we haven't authorized or published.
  • Use customer testimonials, case studies, or screenshots you don't have rights to.
  • Use the Storage Studio name, logo, or brand assets outside the Brand Usage Guidelines.
  • Register domains, social-media handles, or company names containing "Storage Studio" or confusingly similar variants.
  • Bid on Storage Studio trademark terms in paid search without our written consent.
  • Send spam — unsolicited bulk email, DMs, robocalls, or mass outreach that breaches CAN-SPAM / GDPR / CASL / equivalent.
  • Use deceptive subject lines or hide the commercial relationship.

Referral attribution

You will not:

  • Attribute your own personal purchases to yourself (self-referral is detected and voided).
  • Use other partners' codes or links.
  • Manipulate the attribution cookie (incentivised-click farms, extensions that clear competitors' cookies).
  • Stack your referral code with promotional codes — transactions using any non-referral promo code are not eligible for your commission.

Flow B (reseller-as-buyer)

You will not:

  • Use disposable, masked, or programmatically-generated customer email addresses.
  • Buy Flow B licenses to email addresses you control to avoid retail pricing.
  • Stockpile Flow B licenses with no identified end customer at the time of purchase.
  • Misrepresent the price you paid to the end customer.
  • Charge customers for "support" or "activation" services that imply they're part of Storage Studio.
  • Burst purchases beyond your monthly cap.

Customer interactions

You will not:

  • Collect payment for the Storage Studio Product beyond the checkout amount (Flow A) or what your customer has agreed to pay you for your services (Flow B).
  • Impersonate Storage Studio support, sales, or engineering.
  • Collect more customer data than needed to deliver a Flow B license (email is the only required field).

Technical conduct

You will not:

  • Probe, scan, or attempt to circumvent rate limits, captchas, or anti-fraud controls.
  • Reverse-engineer the Storage Studio Product or Program infrastructure except as the law expressly permits.
  • Share your portal magic-link tokens, session cookies, or any credential.
  • Automate portal logins or Flow B checkouts past the captcha. If you have a legitimate volume need, contact us.

You will not:

  • Solicit customers in jurisdictions where Storage Studio is unavailable or where applicable sanctions / export controls prohibit the sale.
  • Knowingly accept payment from sanctioned persons or entities.
  • Pay or accept bribes, kickbacks, or commissions outside the Terms of Partnership.
  • Discriminate against customers on protected grounds.

Enforcement

Proportionate ladder:

  1. First-time, low-severity: email contact, fix-it-please, no financial consequence.
  2. First-time, material: suspend affected transactions, notify, pause Flow B pending discussion.
  3. Repeat or severe: suspension or termination per §9 of the Agreement, with potential clawback.
  4. Suspected fraud: immediate pause of payouts and Flow B while we investigate.
