Tuhi — your storage assistant
Tuhi is the conversational assistant on the Home screen, powered by Apple Intelligence. Type a question into the Ask box — "how much space do I have?", "how do I sync to my S3 account?", "is anything failing?" — and Tuhi answers in plain English, then points you to the right screen with the exact steps.
What Tuhi can help with
- Your storage right now — free space, what's using the most room, how much
you've freed over time.
- Storage Studio's features — what Tuhi, moving, offloading, Data Parking,
snapshots, transfers and Data Transfers do, and how to use them.
- Cloud questions — connecting and syncing iCloud, Dropbox, Google Drive,
OneDrive, Amazon S3 (and S3-compatible services like Cloudflare R2, Backblaze B2 and Wasabi), FTP and SFTP.
- General Mac storage — what "System Data" is, why your disk looks full,
purgeable space, caches, big files and more.
- Checking on things — "is everything OK?", "what's running?", "did the
clean-up run?" — answered from what's actually happening in the background.
Every answer that points to a feature includes a one-tap button and the steps to get there yourself, so Tuhi works as a guide, not just a search box.
On-device and private
Tuhi runs entirely on your Mac with Apple Intelligence — your questions and files never leave your device. It answers from your Mac's real storage and never guesses your numbers.
Tuhi greets you by time of day when you open the conversation, keeps a private history you can clear any time, and lets you select and copy any answer.
The conversational answers require macOS 26 with Apple Intelligence enabled.
