Preferences

Preferences groups settings into five tabs.

General

• Launch at login. macOS service-management toggle.
• Show menu bar icon. Hide if you prefer keyboard-only.
• Default size floor for Free Up Space. Files above this size are

surfaced in Step 2.

Pairs

The list of pairs you've configured. Enable/disable individually. Pinned pairs are protected from LRU eviction in the Recents menu.

Cloud

Per-provider toggles for iCloud Drive, Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive. Each toggle controls whether Step 3 of Free Up Space is allowed to evict dehydrated files from that provider's local cache.

Schedule

How often the daemon does its scheduled tier-policy sweeps. Off (manual only), daily, twice daily, or hourly. The daemon respects smart-mode even when on a schedule.

Advanced

• Smart-mode. Read-only check of the macOS camera/mic-in-use flag.

When either is in use, heavy operations pause. Your A/V is never recorded.

• Self-backup. Snapshot your config and recent pairings to the

external NVMe so a Mac reinstall doesn't lose them.

• Diagnostics. Open the live log viewer. Useful for support

tickets.
